The Nordic Championships in bodybuilding, classic bodybuilding, fitness and athletic fitness 2008 are held in Reykjavik, Iceland.The categories are as follows: – MENS AND WOMENS BODYBUILDING – MENS CLASSIC BODYBUILDING – WOMENS BODY FITNESS The competition will be held at Háskólabíó ( www.haskolabio.is ) which is located at Hagatorg in Reykjavik. The large hall takes 970 seats, has a sloping floor and 100m2 platform on two levels. The 4-star Radisson SAS Saga Hotel is just across the road, with 209 rooms and suites, restaurants, bars and lounges. There are many more first-class hotels in the city centre. The University Cinema has hosted regular domestic and international events for many years, for the medical and pharmaceutical sector, the industrial and technical sector, public and international institutions, advertising and marketing and many more.
Each country is allowed to send maximum two competitors per category. Mens BODYBUILDING as follows: Light-Middleweight (<80 kg) Middleweight (<90 kg) Light-Heavyweight (<100 kg) Heavyweight (>100 kg) Masters 40 years and older If a class has less than 4 athletes, the competitors will be transferred to the next class. Womens BODYBUILDING: One open category Mens CLASSIC BODYBUILDING One open category Womens BODY FITNESS One open category Masters category 35 and older ATHLETIC FITNESS Athletic fitness women Athletic fitness men
Sunday 19th : Prejudging starts at 11.00 hrs and the Finals starts at 18.00 hrs.
The weigh-in for bodybuilders and the registration for fitness athletes will be held at Háskólabíó, Hagatorg, 107 Reykjavík on Saturday 18th of October at 19.00. Please be there in time. The weigh in closes at 21.00. Competitors should show up in posing trunks/bikinis at the weigh in. Bodyfitness competititors should also bring the swimsuit, shoes and two piece bikini. ENTRY FORM Deadline for final entry form is 7th of October 2008. The entry form should be sent by the National federation, not the competitors. Please send as soon as possible estimated number of competitors in each category.
